Eligibility

1.1. Participants must be at least 16 years old on the day of the event. 
1.2. Participants must be in good health and physically fit to undertake the challenges of the Aquathlon. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure they are medically cleared to participate.
1.3. Participants must adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the event organisers.

Registration

2.1. Registration fees are non-refundable. 

2.2. Entries are transferable to another athlete up until 07.07.24. £5 admin fee will be charged. 
2.3. Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. The organisers are not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in registration information provided by participants.

Liability Waiver

3.1. Participation in the aquathlon event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury, illness, and property damage.
3.2. By participating in the event, participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with their participation, and hereby release the event organisers, sponsors, volunteers, and any affiliated parties from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses sustained during or as a result of the event.
3.3. Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain personal health and accident insurance coverage prior to participating in the event.

Photography and Publicity

4.1. By participating in the event, participants grant the event organisers the right to use, reproduce, and distribute photographs, videos, or other media taken during the event for promotional purposes without compensation.
4.2. Participants who do not wish to be photographed or filmed during the event must inform event officials in writing prior to the event.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1. The event organisers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to inclement weather, natural disasters, or other emergencies.
5.2. In the event of cancellation, participants will not be entitled to a refund of registration fees.

Miscellaneous

6.1. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participant and the event organisers, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
6.2. The event organisers reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
6.3. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By registering for the aquathlon event, participants confirm that they have thoroughly read, comprehended, and consented to abide by all the terms and conditions herein.

Disclaimer

Participants recognise and accept that their involvement in the aquathlon event is voluntary and undertaken at their own risk. The event organisers, sponsors, volunteers, and any associated entities disclaim any responsibility for injuries, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation, as permitted by law.
